When we did the Syba Signs Web 2.0 course last year there were a lot of activities around widgets. These are the little applications which you can add to your blog, usually in a column on the right. I have just added vodpod, a link to a bank of videos. It is very easy to do this, there is a direct link inside vodpod to create the widget in blogger ( am I still speaking Engish ??? ) You might like to try this if you have a collection of videos. I must admit my video collection is in YouTUbe but I am going to experiment with Vodpod.

Ready for Launch

The course is ready to go, Helen and I have done a lot of work on it but we keep seeing ways to make it better. However, the promised delivery date is here so of we go. Hopefully it is challenging, but not too challenging, interesting, related to teachers professional needs, and user friendly. Quite a big ask. We have to wait now to see how it goes, quite nerve wracking really!

First Blogger Blog

Welcome to the Web 2.0 Course for Sydney CEO teachers.

This is the first time I have used Blogger. I have created blogs using Edublogs in WordPress. I am looking forward to learning with you, exploring Blogger and creating some posts to reflect on the experience. Here is a photo of me which I have uploaded from my computer.
I hope you enjoy the course, having fun is the best way to learn and will encourage you to keep going to the finish line in module 10. So play, relax and push all the buttons.
